TIMELINE finale - Wakefield Cathedral - 25th October 2010An evening of film to celebrate the rich collection of local footage gathered throughout the TIMELINE project. Info and invitations coming soon...
Following the success of the screenings so far we have discovered over 100 films made by local Wakefield residents, most of which are on cine reels. We are in the process of converting these films for the film makers and others to view and enjoy.
TIMELINE has been working with Outwood Community Video group to share experiences of film making and screened three films including Bands and Banners at their weekly meeting
TIMELINE is an exciting project run by One to One Productions to promote film and screen heritage in a range of venues across Wakefield District. We will be screening locally made films and footage from professionals and amateurs.
TIMELINE is showing archive films in a series of community screenings throughout 2009/10.
ADD YOUR HISTORY. Everyone's story is important, home movie footage has a major part in our cultural heritage and TIMELIME wants to celebrate that. Film has many important qualities including reflecting a certain time and place in history.
If you have film footage you'd like to show in the project from the 50's 60's 70's or 80's please contact us no matter what state or format it's in. Videos, films, reels, etc will all make a significant difference to these exciting community screenings.
