Film-making

The company has a long history of commissions from independent programme making to documentary and experimental films for broadcast TV. Many of our films are commissioned by charities or organisations wanting to promote their work or document changes happening.
Films are great resources to be able to show what an organisation is and what it does. Often our films are used in fundraising or as an educational/awareness resource or for advocacy work within communities. We work with organisations from the concept stage through to delivery of the film on DVD, for broadcast or for deployment across any digital platform.
A selection of our films includes:
The Resilience Film Project - Barnardo's 200810 short films documenting the work of Barnardo's Services in Northern Ireland
Community Governance for You - VOX 2008
Promoting opportunities for people from Black, Minority and Ethic communities to get more involved in governance at a grass roots level
Site Life - Heath Common Travellers Association 2007
A heritage film project working with Travellers on this established Wakefield site
Castleford Media Project - Community Channel 2006
A series of 3 short films made alongside Channel 4's Kevin McClouds Big Town Story about the regeneration of Castleford.

Multimedia

One to One Productions are well suited to embrace convergence of media. With an extensive portfolio in video production, spoken and written word, sound production, photography and programming we are able to work with clients and groups in new ways to facilitate community arts projects or produce advocacy/education resources. We use and continually develop this technology very effectively for participatory arts projects working with all different age groups and abilities as well as for our own creative work as artists.

Print design

We offer an in-house print design service which includes art work for leaflets, publications, posters, CD and DVD covers, brochures and books.
We will work with local printers to produce the final print runs. Clients will receive a "proof" on all design work before completion.
Project Management

We work with partner organisations to manage community arts, community consultation or research projects. Often the focus of the work is within geographical areas or with specific interest groups/organisations.
We will help bring partners and stakeholders together through working on a shared vision for a project, we believe that the arts and creative practice is a great way to break down barriers and bring people together to promote social cohesion.
We will manage the budget, employ freelance workers/artists, ensure good practice is followed in all aspects of child or vulnerable people protection, report to all stakeholders/funders, and deliver the project on time, within budget and fulfilling the project's original aims.
Our clients have included: Primary Care Trusts, Local Authorities, Police, Housing Associations, Hospitals and Care homes, Prisons, Funding Bodies, Voluntary Organisations, Charities and Community Groups.

Research and Consultancy
Our extensive experience in community engagement and development, regeneration and the arts, places us as good candidates to help research or evaluate a project on behalf of an organisation or group. Often this research and evaluation will include video or other media tools and will be about engaging with people to research a need or to evaluate a project.
Recent consultancy work includes "culture and community" advisory role for 3 years for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and an advisory role at De Montfort University on the MA course for Creative Writing and New Media.
